Safety
Natural gas is colorless, odorless and non-toxic. Natural gas contains no toxins or poisons that could be dangerous when inhaled. A harmless odorant is added to natural gas as a safety precaution so even the slightest amount can be detected the event of a leak.
Environment
Natural gas burns cleanly and contributes to a cleaner environment. Natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel available. As it burns, natural gas produces primarily heat, carbon dioxide, water vapor and virtually no solid waste. Burning natural gas reduces the emission of air pollutants that produce smog and acid rain and encourage the "greenhouse effect."
Stability
Natural gas is safe and stable. Due to narrow combustion limits, natural gas is predictable and safe to use.
